2026 Miami Open – Men's singles
Tennis tournament event
Summary
Jannik Sinner defeated Jiří Lehečka in the final, 6–4, 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2026 Miami Open. He did not drop a set en route to his second Miami Open title and seventh career ATP 1000 title, and he became the eighth man to win the Sunshine Double in singles. It was a record-extending third consecutive ATP Masters 1000 title won without dropping a set. Sinner was also the first man to win the Sunshine Double without dropping a set. Lehečka was the first player to reach an ATP 1000 final without having his serve broken since Novak Djokovic at the 2018 Shanghai Masters.

At Wikipedia we usually use the newer ATP 1000 nomenclature, but "ATP Masters 1000" is certainly still used... as long as we use it in full. Without the 1000 is really wrong these days in an encyclopedia... especially when next to the WTA 1000 events.
Undid revision 1346135975 by Fyunck(click) (talk) Sorry to revert you on this one, but the term ATP Masters 1000 is still very much in use in sources, therefore "Masters" should not be removed.
